WK

I have someone in mind who has expressed an interest in joining in the social at Rutland. Can you confirm there is still a place free?

Cheers

There are always spaces free Chris. Please tell your associate that they're very welcome.

It's a sort of parchment affair, rolled up and sealed with wax.

Doesn't surprise me!

And don't tell me the cheque number is in the low teens and it is drawn on a Bank like Adams, Coutts or Child &Co!

Could be worth a fortune to someone from the British Cheques Collectors Society.

Nothing so grand I'm afraid. It's one of the shabbier banks that the rest of us are forced to use although it does have columns for £. s. d. Twisted Evil

To update you all, I've just booked 4 boats for the 5th. We could really do with another bod to make up the numbers so if there's anybody else fancies a go at Rutland's finest please don't be shy coming forward. Costs in the OP. Very Happy
