Hi all,
Just managed to source what I think is the core ingredient of Frogs Fanny type floatant. Hopefully this baby should last me a bit....
I'll decant into an empty bottle and do some comparisons on the next few outings and will report back.

Interesting... I always regarded the stuff as a bit of a gimmick - does it actually work then?
Several years ago the now absent bargain bin at the fishtec factory outlet was clogged up with dozens of bottles of the stuff. I, assuming it was no good, always had to dig down through them all to find the decent fly tying materials beneath . |

Hello RogB,
If you have indeed found the right stuff, I'd happily help offset your initial outlay by purchasing a goodly amount from you if you wish ?.
A PM with details will get a prompt response .
Have a good weekend,

I'll test it out to see if it works.
Had a quick try thursday eve and first impressions are its identical.
Will report back when I have a conclusive result.
Cheers
