If you want some hard fighting rainbows get yourself over to Chigboro. Was there yesterday and released five and lost at least twice as many. Best flies - nomads, humungus (if that is the right spelling!), bloodworm and buzzer. £20.00 take the first fish and C&R thereafter.

Rook Hall - the seven acre one I fished.
Two hours is about the limit for me too.
Good sport, friendly bailiff and even friendlier fish - hey ho! _________________ To be able to wing correctly a small dry fly is the height of attainment in trout fly dressing and is the most difficult part of the art... Roger Woolley |

I'm hoping to get over to Chigboro for a mid week session I've heard Home lake fishes well in the colder months but not having been in winter before any pointers are most welcome. |

That's certainly got me thinking, were the fish taking lures something like humungus?
When I've fished there its been in the warmer months with dry flies and buzzers. |
