an overnight stay anywhere in Killie would be unthinkable, bad enough having a bevvy there. What time are you lot meeting? I have a very busy day in front of me on Saturday, doing my D.O.C. in afternoon, plus toastmaster at meal in the evening. Will drop in if possible for a wee while for a dram or three. Plenty buses out of Killie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Billy. |

I would think about 3-ish Billy. Hope you can get there with your Pensioner Pass. It's only a wee bit from the bus station. _________________ The first thing we do, let's kill all the lawyers. |

Whilst it's terribly bad form to post directly after oneself on a consistent basis, can I just point out to the country defeated everywhere else apart from Bannockburn that I plan to invade at around noon tomorrow. Please don't stand on the jetty throwing porridge and haggis as it's not an effective form of warfare nowadays.

You've got some Ayrshire salmon for supper tomorow after Black's.
p.s. I really hope your good lady can see it within her soul to forgive me. _________________ The first thing we do, let's kill all the lawyers. |

Ah well ... that's the salmon fishing over and done with for another year.
Will just have to make do with Bazza's pictorial escapades. _________________ The first thing we do, let's kill all the lawyers. |

Kilmarnock to Scunthorpe non-stop in 3hrs 40 minutes this morning. Many thanks to John for putting me up and also to Diedre, Michael and Darren in Northern Ireland. I suppose I'd also better mention my gratitude to Chris for keeping his hands to himself in Galway.......
Pictures to follow......

Rich,
You are extremely welcome, really glad that you had a good trip and made it home safely. You are welcome back anytime( that is official from herself). I seriously enjoyed myself. Standing in pouring rain, drinking beer and not catching fish are becoming CFF traditions for me.

I saw hundreds Geordie don't you worry, particularly in and around the pubs of Galway and Cork! North-of-the-border time was limited to the fishing trip with Michael and his grandson but next visit I'll try and work in some time to say hello to you. I understand you tie a mean fly...................

I made it home safely despite two nights at Black's Bar in Kilmarnock. Pictures of John, Billy and me as well as a modern day General Custer will be along in due course.
Meanwhile here's a selection of pictures from our couple of days.
On the conveyor belt tonight!
Your "Big Jim"
Your house.
A Fox Polaris. Shrunken head lure fishing at its best.
The overnight accommodation.....
A fossil-fish.
Darren and me making running repairs.
A Fish.
Darren's 10lb 6oz PB Pike with a helping hand for the camera! "It'll jag me Richard!"
"The River" by fossil-fish.
Thanks again Michael. I had a smashing time, rain included old son!
