I love these trips down memory lane. 1962/3 is a couple of years before my arrival but I understand from my father that the UK still had rickets, black and white television and hanging. Cool

Would you two diamonds like to front up "Pensioners Corner" if I can get the administrator to agree to it upon his return from Hobbit Land? Twisted Evil Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

To be honest chaps, I feel a bit like that myself nowadays. The golden days of yore, only 3 channels on the telly, Dawn (damn them to hell) getting to Number 1 instead of Sweet, UFO on LWT after World Of Sport on Saturdays, Reginald Bosanquet reading the news pissed up. You don't get class like that now do you? Cool

3 channels on the telly!! No telly. No radio Luxemburg. No cars. No men over 55. No rainbows.

But the fishing was good, the buses ran on time and there was still a train service. And I could see and hear skylarks from the back garden.
