I have given this a quick read and I would say that it is aimed at very novice fly fishers. It has some good hints and tips in it and suggested flies that can be used for various coarse fish.
It is full of colour pictures and the text is clearly written and informative.

It's obviously a growing area within angling, Peter. I must admit I enjoy flyfishing for Perch and Pike as much as trout these days and just recently two fly anglers I know have caught Barbel and Tench after deliberately flyfishing for them. And that's not to mention your recent exploits on your local canal.
