This may seem like an inappropriate listing on a fishing forum, however
it has been given the o.k. by the site administrator.
Here goes
After living for almost 30yrs. on a secluded 10 acre lifestyle block on the fringe of Auckland City
(New Zealand) it is time to move on & the property is being put on the market.
The reason for posting on this site, is that many from the UK & elsewhere are choosing to invest
in land in this area. Someone on this forum may know of someone that is interested or contemplating
doing so.
Although a secluded rural 10 acre block it is within 10 mins a mega centre shopping complex,
university, sports stadium, commercial area etc.
Photo 46/49 shows my fly tying area & G/kids playroom, which would also suit a home business
office or studio. Two garages plus two covered parks plus ample room for a boat, also large storage areas.
Three small ponds once held rudd, perch & tench but are now waterlily ponds, home to aquatic wildfowl.
A stream running through the centre of the land provides water for animals etc. also has eels & freshwater
crayfish. Beaches & marvellous saltwater fishing are close by.
A redundant vineyard of 450 vines has successfully grown Sauvignon blanc, gewürztraminer, pinot noir,
cabernet sauvignon, malbec, chenin blanc & palomino grapes, also there is a purpose built room for
home winemaking & cellaring.
The land has resource consent granted to subdivide into two, offering many options, which would assure
considerable future capital gain.

Yes B69, has been great living here for nearly 3yrs. but the time has come to move on.
By the way, price is in $NZ, not sure what the current exchange rate is but I think you
roughly divide by three for pounds or Euros.

Converts to £783,208.70 using XE.COM
Which is really no money at all in the UK market and certainly wouldn't buy you a pokey little flat in Chelsea!
Oh for the money.....! |

I was lucky enough to win a ten thousand pound luxury holiday to New Zealand just over a year ago and I can say without fear of contradiction it is the most delightful country you could hope to go to. The people were charming and the scenery gorgeous.
Bazza, I am saving up for your house ,starting from now! _________________ A bad day fishing is still better than a good day at work. |
