|One of the great old Tweed back end patterns, still in use today, and still catching its fair share of Autumn salmon on Tweedside.
Hook: Normally tied as a tube fly, but can be dressed on big doubles or trebles.
Tying Thread: Black 8/0
Tag: Oval Gold Tinsel
Body: Rear Half, Red Floss Silk, Front Half, Black Floss Silk
Rib: Oval Gold over full length of Body
Wing: Formed in three parts. Yellow Bucktail tied in at tail of fly, Red Bucktail tied in at the middle point of the body, Black Bucktail tied in at the head of the fly. Bucktail wing points should align with the black bucktail slightly overlapping.
Cheeks: Jungle Cock (Optional)
