As you can see one is not on the tiny side, even though ive lost 4 inches of my chest somewhere Rolling Eyes are there any companies that do wcoats that go upto fat bastard size ROFL ROFL

Being of not quite that size, perhaps I'd consider going to a sailmaker for my next one.

Hi there, I have around 40 yrs exp. of tying flies, incl. some semi-pro work. I've taught at adult evening classes, written for and supplied photos for most U.K. fly magazines. Given talks/slide shows/lectures/demonstrations etc. Am founder and life pres. of local Fly Dressers Guild (27years), our members have won more prizes for tying than any other similar club, we've also won several national flyfishing comps. I look forward to both learning from and contributing to this highly respected forum.

Pi** takers, Laughing the waistcoat is for fishing, Chobson. I do have one that fits "just" and one that i knock about in which is now to big Rolling Eyes i was hoping for some constructive help, but clearly the skinnies on here can only mock No Pity lucky they didnt know me when i had a 58inch chest as that was muscle, but a bloody long time ago ROFL ROFL

Orvis. Not the cheapest, but they are american - so have to make kit in fatboy size!

(I have vest and waders that provide more than ample room for my athletic frame Laughing )

The problem with the xxxl sizes are they aren't consistent, that size is normally 50-52 and some are only upto 50 Embarassed I wish they would get rid of the letter sizeing as its rubbish and dosnt give any accuracy Mad i have found a waistcoat but its not a fishing one, but it looks cool Very Happy

As Kev says above. Look at American manufacturers there are plenty of people your size over there. For example the Simms vest size chart lists 54" as only XL, XXL is 57" and XXXL is 60".

Unfortunatly most sizes are for the uk market which are smaller , well at the moment we are catching up ROFL ROFL simms and alike are abit pricey for me , as i knacker things pretty quick so dont like pay alot for stuff, im going towards the workwear side of things or evem military gear, like tactical vests Very Happy panoply do a nice waistcoat, pretty in biege and orange Laughing
