The Complete Fisher Forum

Last year we held a raffle on the forum to raise funds for the forum server. We raised enough funds to allow us to move the website to a stable and fast server and since the move we have not experienced any downtime. The costs for running the site are approximately £1000 per year. The banners that we currently have on the site go some way towards covering these costs, and this year we're running an auction. All auctions will run until midnight on 20th December 2008, when the winning bidder on each thread will win that prize.

Last year we had 50 prizes donated by members, fisheries and shops and raised a fantastic amount of money through raffle ticket sales. This year we hope to achieve the same which will allow us to continue with the website without any financial problems.

You can help us in two ways - either by donating a prize, or by placing a bid on an item.

oops forgot bandwidth, I will put it on a 100Mbps port and cover 2Mbps @ 95th percintile, so around 700Gb per month.... Not sure if that would work?

There would have to be a caveat as to which charity the surplus money from the auction would therefore go to...
