I have been thinking about the league and the way it is going.
It seems to be pretty quiet and needs more entries each month so some sort of incentive would be needed to draw them in, whether this is possible I dont know.
For each fly that goes up at the moment it is usually easy to know whos it is, so are there any ideas to get around this.
Some input from all members on the league would be good
Is there going to be a 2010 league?

I thought about contacting a few companies to see if they would be prepared to put up a small prize but thought I would run it by people first.

Just one suggestion. What if, as Greenock says, we have a host who would be able to photograph all the flies on a neutral back drop. Then the winner could win all the entries. _________________ I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be.

Without trying to dodge the question, my main concern is to provide a platform for, and to facilitate where necessary, the foundations to run a league / swap / competition that is run how the members want it to be run. I can set as many rules out but if the entrants disagree with them and have not been asked for any input then they are (rightly) less likely to participate  _________________

i like the idear of a small prize ,
ilike the idear of one person to take a pic of the fly so that the back grounds all the same ,
ppl to enter the leage maybe thay chould all put in a pound at the start so the winner gets every ones pound or the money is used to get a small prize at the end .
like the idears said so far , _________________ wes i 'm sorry if i offended anyone.

why not everyone participating put in a couple of quid and a wee trophy could be purchased and the winner keeps for a year and then passes it on the following year unless he is a right lucky bugger and wins it again  |
