Rolling Eyes Who didn't know it was 8.00am start !!!!!! - I did not get there until 9.00ish

Not an easy start - 15 Anglers on Nunnery = 1 Trout and a couple of Pike
North Shore - Dev Stickley = Limit by 12.00 - 4 on Orange Gold Head 4 on Black/Green - Intermediate Line

Bill Bailey = 1Trout Green/Black Booby Laughing Laughing

Herons- someone had a Limit in the morning - several caught in the afternoon - Geoff Hurst came round from Nunnery where he had blanked and caught 1 on a Viva - Woodford and Wick Crying or Very sad Question

Method = Gold Heads - Sinking or Intermediate Lines - Orange Fritz and Black/Green also Booby Flies caught

Looks like it was a bit of a struggle for everyone except Dev, but nothing new there! Laughing

As you can see I'm up at Stupid O'clock and I will be leaving for the lake as soon as I have had some breakfast. Lets hope my early start will be worth it although I doubt if I will be first at the gate. Laughing

I'll post a report on the Bristol Water thread later today Very Happy

Good report, nice to see a few catches. Were the Pike caught accidently on Trout Lures or can you PFF for them with Pike Fly Tackle.

John - You can fly fish for pike with dead parrots or what seems to be better, on occasions, is a well presented size 12 DB. Smile Chew is stuffed full of pike and increasingly attracts PFF followers both from bank and boat.
