It might be worth a quick phone call to Hardy/Greys to see if they have any old stock they're looking to shift. I've had one or two bargains from them. The only drawback is you need to pick it up from the factory outlet or get somebody else to do it and then mail it on. At least that's how it worked for me.

Thanks mate.... Ill do that. I just bought a new Greys XF2 as when I tried it it felt almost identical to the XD... but I tried it out properly fishing for the first time today I couldnt get on with it for some reason? May be I was just having a bad day...I guess Ive got so use to the XD I didn't really want to change but was given rave reviews about the XF2. I noticed from catalogues that the XD has gone up in price which means I haven't got the spare cash at the moment really. Was just hoping someone had one somewhere they we're not using and could do a swap or something.
