North shore. 3 fish to light green gold head damsel nymph. Fished figure of 8, quite fast with a twitch and a pause in between. Takes came during the pause. Takes very savage. All fish taken virtually in the weed. |

Welcome to the Forum, Ravageagain.
Sounds like you had a good time and 3 fish is good going at this time of year. I only had one last time I fished the North Shore.

Sorry guys, just realised I didn't thank you for the welcome.
I usually put my reports on twitter, but Dave(BristolBlanker) suggested I look at this forum as I am keen to learn tying my own flies
(properly anyway !) and improve my casting.
I will now put my reports on here also.
I try to get on blagdon at least twice a week, if only for a few hours.
I usually catch a few every time I go, so will give as much info as I can.
Good luck to all. |

Welcome to the forum Rav, you will find us a friendly bunch notwithstanding the catholic tastes of some
Awoke to find my lower calf and ankle all puffed up so a trip to the Docs instead of a trip to Chew - worried about DVT post the op on my knee. Conditions look good up here if a tad "still" - hope things go well for the Lexus comps over the next few days. |

Nice one Rav, welcome along.
If you are catching most trips the flies must be prety good.
Cheers,
