Here's something: The Humber Estuary looking towards Grimsby at around 7am this morning. Total silence - but a bit chilly.
Venus is visible in the sky.
And twenty minutes later. Peace and solitude with Venus still up and about! Smashing!
5.30am till 8.30am - two diminutive flounders and a birdsnest to report. Bah humbug!!

Those pictures aren't bad for an iPhone are they? Particularly with the low light levels. Mind you I took around twenty to get those two!
May I also recommend the "StarChart" app for the iPhone. Amazing what it can help you find, apart from fish of course...........
