Someone gave me this book thinking it might be useful, trouble is it was published in 1989 so few if any of the fisheries featured are still going. As I haven't been fly fishing for very long I have no recollections of any of these fisheries even if they are still running but you might...

Here's the fisheries featured
1: Avington
2: Bayham Lake
3: Cameley
4: Chalk Springs
5: Dever Springs
6: Furnace Brook
7: Langford
8: Leominstead
9: Rockbourne
10: Rushmoor
11: Walden's
12: Westbury Farm
13: Willinghurst
14: Pondwood
15: Latimer Park
16: Vicarage Spinney
17: Flowers Farm
18: Hermitage Lakes
19: Powdermills
20: Robinswood

What do you know?

That's a name from the past.

Back in them days he was more of a sea angler, but he now does a bit of everything.

As for the fisheries, I recognise a few names, but stillwater is not my thing, as some will vouch Confused .

Cameley is still open but I believe Langford lakes are now a nature reserve and you can only fish the river.

The the venue section and catch reports here should provide some good information on some of the existing fisheries on your book list. Very Happy

Latimer Park is a lovely two lake fishery in NW London just inside the M25. The first place I ever fished in the UK, but unfortunately now a syndicate.

When I was 25 we had a day there, returning with a sack of trout. Stopped off for a drink in Fulham and one thing led to another - we ended up at a nightclub at 2am trying to check our sack of trout in with the cloakroom assistant - who refused of course. We left it in a dark corner and forgot it. The poor cleaners in the morning...
