I spent the weekend with some guys from B.A.S.S fishing in Devon but the going was tough.
The tides were pretty good and the weather was fantastic but unfortunately the offshore breeze and flat sea didn't make ideal bass fishing conditions My first session on Friday evening started off well enough when I dropped two reasonable shore Pollack before I landed this one about an hour before dark ...
However it was downhill from then on and apart from one or two plucks which could have been from anything, that was it for me. The other guys picked up one or two small Bass on plugs but there was nothing of any note to report. In a weeks time I'll be on the Lizard in Cornwall so hopefully I'll have more luck then!

Thanks for sharing, never caught a pollack before. Down plymouth next weekend so hope for my first decent fish of some sort on the lures! _________________ Trout |
