I've presently got a ruck sack with a seat incorporated but need to get a new one.
Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Not something I actually use fly fishing, apart from when on a boat. For other styles of fishing I have a few from different manufacturers including a Korum light weight accessory chair which I use for coarse fishing from wooden or concrete platforms. Weight would nearly always be one of the biggest factors I take into account when thinking of buying.

As far as fly fishing goes I notice that a lot of competition anglers use the old fashioned plastic Shakespeare type seat boxes. I can really see the point of these. Solid, waterproof, doesn't collapse and very accessible. Also handy in a boat. And of course you can sit on it.

This is a serious question, with no intention to be derogatory . . . but are you disabled? Depending upon your answer the recommendations for a seat, from which to fly fish, can be very different and will need to consider a range of possibilities.

No im not disabled but due to an old accident sometimes my back cramps up between my shoulder blades. This doesnt happen often but when it does it helps to sit down for five minutes to stretch my back. Then i want to be up and about again so thats why a rucksack/seat is ideal.

In the Fishtec sale the Airflo Comfort Zone Stool Bag is available at £39.99 - from £49.99. It has the advantage of a back support.
