Hi guys n gals I come ere via the Facebook page .I'm from Boston in lincs. Where I've fished since I could walk (well almost lol) .I grew up with 4 uncles that took me fishing in the local drains and rivers as well as the odd excursion to the trent and the fens and 3 trios to Ireland . In my adult yrs I've switched from coarse to sea to predator and to fly fishing wich given the choice would be my goto method for all species. And if you hadn't guessed by my username I also enjoy kayak fishing wich I've only started fairly recently targeting pike n press in my local rivers and drains bit I do intend to venture futher onto the lakes and reservoirs that are opening up more to our sport. I wish I had done it yrs ago . I am a member of the lincolnshire salmon and trout association where I fish our own syndicate lakes in the lincolnshire wolds that hold some of the best fighting trout anywhere my favourite method of fly fishing is the team of buzzers washing line style. I tie my own buzzers that seem to do extremely well on the lake often out fishing many others .I also tie my own pike flies wich I have caught on too . I look forward to swapping fishy tales and tips and maybe getting out fishing with some of you. |

Hi Kayakfisher018.
Welcome to the Forum.
I am pondering a Kayak purchase but there is not much use for one around the Watford area apart from the Grand Union Canal and maybe the Thames.
Anglian waters are open to Kayaks as long as there are at least two together.
Do you tie your own Pike flies?
Happy posting. _________________ Floating Lines, buzzers, nymphs, stick floats, maggots and throwing lures at bitey things.
