Who has fished blithfield recently and what is your opinion on this fishery. Thx.

when i was a course fisherman i had bag weights to remember, now i am a trout fisherman i have bag weights i can take home!!!

Bob, a very tidy fishery. Good boats and engines. The fish are plentiful and hared fighting, if not enormous, but nice clear water and an opportunity for you to use traditional methods. Blobs and boobies work very well too but I know you'd rather put barbed hooks in you eyes............ Very Happy Very Happy

Yes Bob. I've always found it good fishing there. Plenty of fish looking upwards. Blobs do work well on here but so do dries, especially in the warmer water. Small red bits, claret and orange hoppers best for me.

Usually fish around the causeway end. Plus it's another DCAC water. You should really look at joining. I'll take you out on Willington if you like, in a boat. It's fishing well just now.
