I was inspired to tie some Mop Jigs up after watching a TightLines YouTube video on a double mop Fly. The thought that it might be of interest to a perch or two, as it is not that far removed from the very trendy Ned Rig.
I tied the one on the right in the picture using Mop noodles and gave it a swim in the canal despite it being VERY muddy. My expectations were low, but I did get one good solid thump on the Mop Jig which makes me think in better water conditions and a few competing fish in front of me it should work.
The other two I tied with standard chenille.

I am still waiting for my local lake and canal water to clear and then I will try them again. I need to feel confident when fishing them and murky water does not help.
Thanks

The conditions were right so I tied it on and bingo
The small perch were all over it but it took slightly bigger fish to set the hook.
