Spinning from the rocks for mackerel a couple of days ago in south Cornwall - this chap took a liking to the spoon.
Only small but very fat and fought like a tiger on light gear! He sent back to grow a bit more

Almost certainly a Sea Trout Dave. I believe a number are taken around the Hayle estuary but Fryfishing (Peter) would know better than I.  |
