|Well most people settled down to watch the late night news I headed for Anglesey. I had very little in turns of bait just a hand full of rag mussel and mack.
First stop RMAs for the rag (cheers tez) then onto Holyhead breaky for low water. No one fishing at all so opted for the end. 1 rod loaded with rag and mussel other with a full fillet of mack.
First 6 casts with mackerel produced 6 bow wows
2 big pulls then a slack liner on the rag and mussel saw me hauling up a possible reasonable codling only to drop off half way up the wall. 2 hours after low all went quiet so packed up and headed for Cym beach
Weed was a problem for first hour after that the colies came in all small though. All caught on mack at distance
A few hours kip in hotel Mondeo then ago for the bass with poor bait (still couldnt get any worm) managed pump a few tiny blow. Worst thing that could happen i could blank and i did
Enjoyable day the fishing was not out of this world but needed clear my head anyway
Skill is a poor substitute compared to pure luck
