Thu 8th March
Only two boats out today, "White Otter" and "Shuwari" and only the latter picking up a sailfish that they tagged. However I heard reports on the radio that they had lost an estimated 280-300 lb black marlin that fell off after a few minutes. The wind was still blowing from the north but the forecasts suggest that today is the last day. _________________ Sea Adventures Ltd, Shimoni, Kenya offers fishing charters on either the 46-ft "Broadbill" skippered by the old man of the sea, Pat or on the 42-ft "Kamara II skippered by myself in to the Pemba Channel or live aboard fishing safaris. In my reports I will try to give an honest appraisal of the fishing out of Shimoni, whether on our boats or others. |
