A few of popular ones I can remember that haven't been mentioned yet, some among my favourite dance tracks of all time.
Not sure as they all would have been from the 90s but I'm sure I can remember them being played around this time.
Paul Van Dyk - For an Angel. (The first dance / trance track that I heard and got me listening to this type of music instead of the rubbish pop that was around at the time.
KEV YOU FRICKEN LEDGEND - Good god must have been 14 at sandton hall wearing my satin white pants with the stripes down the side. glow stick in each hand and plowing my whistle.
For me I just couldn't choose one clubbing track.
Tiesto did some intense stuff -

For us it was a slightly higher league than sandstorm or cafe del mar - but alll contenders or one of our favourites..
pure clubbing tunes - Nukleuz has to have released some of the most progressive stuff, not to mention how tidy trax pushed the boundries and developed some of the best talent we see today. Then cam BK (Brian Knight) Andy Farley and the likes. They took bass lines to a new level for me with releases that were blowing people away on the dance floor - Music Is moving - Cortina was mental and I never heard anyone say they got tired of hearing it. Infact if i was to reach in the bag and pull out any chune by one of them you knew you were ok. Aah hell the warp brothers too. Best tune of 90's in the true clubbing scene wasn't a tune it was a mitsubishi
Faithless is a fair shout, because there music hit the true clubbing scene (not just the look at me I've been to ministry scene)
Insomnia was an awesome tune but it was all about "God is a DJ" for me.
This is my church, this is where I heal my hurts. _________________ Mark Yelland on fishing for Trevally compared to a boxing match: “The moment the bell goes you want to get the first punch in, that’s the only way you’re going to win”.
