an english 30 for me! Very Happy common or mirror, not too fussy.
a pike over 10
a chub over 4
a barbel over 2lb (that shouldnt be too difficult, i hope Confused )

they are the ideals, but any carp over 20lb from winters at manor farm would be a great acheivment, thats one barrier i would dearly love to cross Rolling Eyes

Laughing woohoo!!! the winters lake hoodoo may be lifting!!!!!!!

THE WINTERS 20 IS IN THE BAG!!!

went for an overnighter earlier this week, and managed to get a few fish surface feeding. from a total of 4, 3 of which were surface caught. a 17lb 6 oz from the carp lake, and a 14lb 6oz and a 21lb 4oz from winters Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

also had a nice oppurtunity to watch some behaviour, saw a lot of big fish in the same area, one of which has been caught by a buddy at 31lb 2oz, known as "the milky common". took my bait, but i hadnt adjusted to using floater cake and missed it on the strike!

thats one target managed, now for that 30!!!!!!!! Laughing

got a pic of the 14, thanks to the guys whoever they were, but noone about for a trophy shot of the biggun. i was reluctant to keep the fish out of water to set up a shot on my own as i only had a small mat, and i hooked it just 3 ft out, so it was a bit of a ruck, didnt want to stress it any more. i was fishing with the other mark on the carp lake, we both caught within 5mins of each other, but i left the phone in the bivvy, so no pix.

as you can see by the ripples, they were still having it even with all the commotion on the bank!

that one fell the same way, just a foot from the edge
