Hiya geoff and Steve.

I was wondering who was going to be the first to kick off the 2008 thread Laughing

I should be O.K for Chew and Blagdon but I'm literally just off to an interview at Portbury Dock.......driving cars on and off the ships.

Problem is, if I get the job I don't know how I'll stand for days off and days working. I've applied for 2-3 days a week so we'll just have to see.

Probably won't get the job anyway as I don't speak fluent Polish Laughing Laughing

I'll definitely be fishing Chew on opening day but sadly I will have to give Blagdon a miss this time because of work. However as its Good Friday the following day and then the Easter weekend it isn't really a problem. Wink

I see C.B is getting his excuses in already! Rolling Eyes Laughing

May go to the tanks for opening chaps, I have said I would for a couple of years but not done it yet. It should be less of a scrum for places. If I go to Chew will look out to catch up with you during the day. Tight lines Mark

mark.

I've fished the last 3 Opeing days at Chew and Blagdon and it hasn't been that croded at all.

Gone are the days in the '80's when we used to start queueing the night before at the gates Wink

We'll see CB. I usually end up at Chew as I say. Never been to Blagdon for opening day though.
